Please note this is a grassroots project. We will use equipment and software readily available to community networks and media groups.
The best way to connect is to use QuicKTime 4, 5 or 6 as a stand alone player without the browser. Then you will connect directly to the server.
This fall, eight young Canadians from across Canada and eight young Russians from Kaliningrad Region came to St. John's. From mid September to early December 2002, these youth, between the ages of 21-25, are calling St. John's home. NetCorps, a Canada World Youth initiative, is an international non- formal educational programme that aims to develop employability skills, promote cross cultural understanding, and give young people the opportunity to participate effectively in local and global development.
Eight pairs of participants between the ages of 21-25 are living with local families and volunteer in local community based organizations, their volunteer work focusing on Information Technology and Community Development. The group participates in educational activities as well as in community events.
