Don Murphy teaches media and video production at the College of the
North Atlantic. He has also served as interim coordinator of the
journalism program. Mr. Murphy worked for the Memorial University
Extension Service Media Unit, formed as an agreement between the
university and the National Film Board following the Fogo Project. He
has experience producing community media and working on community
television forums in different regions of the province.

Don has been a Ryakuga director for the past nine years. His most recent
project was an innovative video production workshop with the Burnt Islands
Sharing Our Future youth group in October, 2005.

He also facilitated video workshops for Burnt Islands youth in 2003 and 2004.
